- Psychotherapeutic Counsellor
BSc Hons Psychology, PGCE – FE; PGCE – IAPT LICBT; DPC in Psychotherapeutic Counselling
Hello and welcome! My name is Entela and I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and I adhere to their ethical framework and commitment to work in a safe, professional and ethical manner. I have extensive experience of working with anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, relationship issues and offer a safe and confidential space in person and/or online.

The name "ihealwithin" is inspired by the struggles we face in life. Often, we are ruled by the past which defines who we become as adults. Learning to let go by embracing and accepting the past while healing from within, make us able to grow and choose our own path as autonomous adults.
About Me
I work in an integrative way, focusing in Transactional Analyses (TA) which is a psychotherapeutic approach.
Aside from in-person therapy services, I also provide first aid mental health and wellbeing sessions tailored for individuals, group work, employers, voluntary and corporate organisations. I focus on self-care, learning tools and strategies to support a better quality of life with scope to improve communication from healthy life positions (I’m OK, You’re OK).
Whether this is your first time or you are new to seeking therapy, the process can at times be overwhelming and often prodigious. Being in therapy is a unique journey and an important step towards the beginning of healing from within, soothing your pain and resolving personal struggles. One of the unique things that I value about my therapeutic relationship with the client is its level of shared emotional intimacy. I am confident that my people-centred approach, multi-dimensional knowledge, multicultural background and nurturing traits of my personality will provide an appropriate and safe space. Hence, you will feel confident to share thoughts, express emotions that perhaps you haven’t shared with others. Letting yourself be vulnerable with a ‘stranger’ may be daunting and I commend you for taking this first step.
Whatever it is that you are going through, feeling or thinking, problems or dilemmas you might experience due to traumatising events, poor health, relationships or work, we can explore these safely and confidentially.
Therapy is your time, your safe space and therefore, I will do my best to hold your emotions safely, be there for you to help and guide you to heal from within. I hope that you will find we make a good fit and I look forward to hearing from you.
Please email or call me to arrange a session (or for more information) where you can tell me all about what brings you to counselling therapy and also talk about how we may work together and pave the way towards healing, meeting your goals and achieving autonomy.
